Fine for a hand-held nostalgic trip, but the controls are the biggest let-down.
Some iPad games have this spot on,like Llamasoft's Minotaur Rescue and Minotron... brilliant and well thought out controls, the Atari pack games are just whack a massive joystick on the screen and hope your finger's in the right place...
If you really want a decent bash at those old-school high scores, get MAME for Mac... the iCade may improve matters but I prefer Mac+Xbox controller...

That would work--when I get a MBP (D2C). My current 'book has S video and 1/8" audio out, which was fine three years ago. I currently run component from my HD sat receiver to the plasma, optical to my HT system and HDMI from the HT to the plasma. I like Multimedia's idea of using an EyeTV DVR and a Mac Mini I have sitting in the play room. I've got DVR on my standard sets upstairs and it's quite addicting.

My wife and I were just talking about upgrading the HD receiver to a DVR but for the same price I can own the EyeTV DVR and use my Mac Mini with it.Well I guess you should check your luck with a Terk TV5 off air antennae direct connect to your Digital TV tuner to confirm you can receive decent HDTV Broadcast signals before buying the EyeTV 500.

I've got an almost 3 year old iphone 3G that has become almost useless because of its sluggishness. I was planning on jumping on the iphone 5 before it was delayed (supposedly).
What would you do if it were you? Wait until possibly next year to get the iphone 5 or go ahead and pick up a 4 now?

I do some computer work at our library and they had the HDD with the catalog die (and didnt back up of course). They went to Lazurus??? , anyways they got back a whole new Hard Drive with everything restored. Took 2 weeks i think but they did a really great job. I didnt see the bill but somebody said it was $500 for the new drive and recovery.

So I got my Photoshop on Mac last year and somehow, I think I accidentally pressed something. I used to have a transparent background whenever I use it so I can see the desktop but now it's all gray and boring. How do I turn it back? I have the Translucent option checked btw. Thanks for any help that will come.

Anyone lining-up at either At&t or Apple at the Gardens Mall. I spoke with At&T today at the Mall and they said they are opening at 8AM on July 11th, even though the Mall doesn't officially open till 10AM.

Hi ,I'm Wulfii and I am new here and I hope you guys can help me with my problem I ended up here whilst trawling for a solution to my problem.
I cannot shuffle tunes in a playlist I have tried and tried , I have created playlists but the same song keeps playing, I know it works because it did -Once-and I can't seem to get it to work I await a solution please .

i have heard about DVI to HDMI cables, but what do I use for the sound? People also mentioned about VGA calbes? Meanwhile, there's something called the mini-DVI to HDMI. Which one is best?

I just don't understand this whole "he's 18 and and adult" routine. He may be 18 in the eyes of the law, but with no real life experience behind him I hardly think he can be considered mature enough to make adult decisions. What's with this whole "hey presto the law says your an adult so you your all grow up now" ??
